2010 CALENDAR OF EVENTS .
July 17th	Friends of the Museum Picnic Saturday, 4-7pm. The mountain communities from the Antelope Valley to Camp Scheideck are invited to a "Friends of the Museum" Picnic at the Ridge Route Communities Museum this Saturday. Come and meet others interested in this area's history and see the changes being made in the indoor and outdoor exhibits. Provided with be homemade ice cream, Dutch oven bread and hand churned butter. There will be a silent auction and great music by Ron and Barbara Edsall. Please bring a dish to share, your own table service and lawn chair. Some pictures from:
August 7,8th	We will have Open House during Fiesta Days We had a booth at Fiesta and it helped make our budget, thank you for coming.
September 18th	Grand Opening to share Chumash Indoor Display and new outdoor exibits.
September 25th	San Andreas Fault Tour - meet at the Y at 10:00am Call 245- 2831 for reservations and Information
October 2nd	Local tour

This year, one of the events that our local Ridge Route Communities Museum is commemorating is the 150 th Anniversary of the arrival of telegraph service to our mountain area, also Twenty-ten marks the 140 th Anniversary of the Frazier Brothers making the first sighting of gold on the mountain that would soon be named after them.
All Year	Telegraph Service This year, one of the events that our local Ridge Route Communities Museum is commemorating is the 150th Anniversary of the arrival of telegraph service to our mountain area. More information here
All Year	The Frazier Mine A very significant discovery was made in our mountain area in 1870 and the Ridge Route Communities Museum will be commemorating that event through this year.
